Inspire pupils’ curiosity in the present, through the toys of generations past

‘Toy Stories’ is an exciting new exhibition displaying a plethora of toys from past generations. This fascinating insight into the past times and play things of our ancestors provides a fantastic learning opportunity for schools, supporting both the history and science curriculum. Pupils can learn to identify continuity and change with displays of how specific toys have changed over time.  They will also have the chance to get up close to a range of dolls houses as well as well known iconic toys like the Rubik’s cube.

A series of hands on workshops for Early Years to KS2 complements this exhibition. EYFS/KS1 will have an opportunity to learn through play, handling a range of toys from past and present, whilst KS2 can develop their enquiry skills and chronological knowledge, creating a game based on what they have learnt. Prices start from just £60 per group.
