Hampton Folk Tales exhibition
Creating the legends and myths of Hampton
Join us to celebrate Hampton Folk Tales, one year on. Meet Mavis the giant and take in our exhibition showcasing the brand new folk tales for Hampton.
“Now, you may have heard the tales of the Fen Tigers that once roamed the flatlands to the east of Peterborough; you might know of the legend of Robin Goodfellow; you may even have seen a giant black dog running through the peat fields in pitch black; but you probably haven’t ever heard of a folk tale from Hampton. Well, now all that’s about to change…”
This project is in partnership with Eastern Angles. Hampton Folk Tales was originally commissioned by Peterborough Presents.
